China has established clear timelines and roadmaps for achieving “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,” with sustainable development as the cornerstone of high-quality urban growth. As a global hub for new energy industries, Ningde boasts not only a solid foundation in zero-carbon sectors including CATL, nuclear power, and offshore wind energy, but also enjoys unique natural endowments of mountain-sea integration and profound cultural heritage. Transitioning from “zero-carbon industries” to “zero-carbon lifestyles,” Ningde possesses both the responsibility and capability to pioneer a replicable and perceptible low-carbon urban development model.
为此,我们发起2026宁德国际文创设计大赛,以“宁(0)聚山海”作为此次竞赛主题,指代宁德,同时“宁”谐音“凝”,意为凝聚、汇聚;数字“0”代表零碳、归零、循环,象征从零开始的创新勇气与可持续闭环。这不仅是一个竞赛主题,更是一份来自宁德的绿色邀请——它期待设计师以“归零”的心态,重新审视我们与山海的关系,不再是“画一个形象”,而是构建一个以“零碳”为目标,以“聚合”为手段,以“山海”为基底的生态系统。
To this end, we launch the 2026 Ningde International Cultural and Creative Design Competition under the theme “Ning (0) Unites Mountains and Seas,” symbolizing Ningde while the homophone “Ning” (meaning “condensation”) signifies convergence. The digital “0” represents zero-carbon sustainability, circularity, and the innovative courage to start anew, embodying a sustainable closed-loop ecosystem. This theme transcends competition—it’s a green invitation from Ningde, urging designers to adopt a “reset mindset” to redefine our relationship with mountains and seas. The goal shifts from mere visual representation to building an ecosystem anchored in “zero-carbon” principles, driven by “aggregation,” and rooted in “mountains and seas.”

Within the framework of Ningde’s’ Zero-Carbon City ‘policy, what we witness is not cold carbon metrics, but a gentle revolution in lifestyle. We regard’ Mountain-Sea Zero’ as a key—not unlocking factory doors, but reshaping everyday imagination.
“可持续地方设计”意味着什么?它意味着我们不把宁德的风物当作一次性礼物,而是当作一种可以反复穿戴的价值观。未来的城市文创伴手礼,不再是“带回家的东西”——那些躺在行李箱里的特产终会消耗殆尽;而应该是“带在身上的价值观”——一件衣服、一个包、一枚徽章,每一次使用都在诉说:我来自一个懂得与自然共处的城市。
What does “sustainable local design” mean? It signifies treating Ningde’s natural landscapes not as disposable gifts, but as reusable cultural assets. Future urban cultural souvenirs should transcend being mere “take-home items” —those local specialties stored in suitcases will eventually diminish—but rather become “values carried on the body.” Each garment, bag, or badge tells a story: “I hail from a city that embraces harmony with nature.”
从“零碳产业”到“零碳生活”,宁德要做的,是用风尚回应年轻一代的绿色期待,用匠心复活非遗里的古老智慧,用城市印记讲述山海间的能源故事。这不仅是设计竞赛,更是一次关于如何轻盈地活在地球上的集体探索。
From “zero-carbon industries” to “zero-carbon lifestyles,” Ningde aims to respond to the younger generation’s green aspirations through innovative trends, revive ancient wisdom embedded in intangible cultural heritage with artisanal craftsmanship, and narrate energy stories between mountains and seas through urban imprints. This is not merely a design competition, but a collective exploration of how to live lightly on Earth.

This competition innovatively adopts a dual-track invitation system combining the “5+4” International Elite Invitational Tournament with University Youth Innovation Competitions, establishing a creative pyramid model characterized by “top-tier leadership, youth succession, and diversified empowerment.” This ensures that entries demonstrate international caliber, industrial relevance, and innovative vitality. 各赛道作品元素需与产业结合:白水洋、鸳鸯溪、霞浦东海一号线及大京沙滩、宁德电动游船。
Entries for each track must integrate industrial elements related to the following: Baishuiyang, Yuanyang Stream, Xiapu Donghai No.1 Scenic Drive and Dajing Beach, and Ningde Electric Cruise Boats.
(一)“0碳生活风向标”——聚焦日常消费文创
(I) “0-Carbon Lifestyle Barometer” —Daily Consumption Creativity
聚焦宁德日常生活中的山海风物与民间智慧,利用本地可再生资源,设计兼具实用性与美感的日常消费文创产品(如便携餐具、环保袋、茶系文具、潮流服饰、低碳包装等),让宁德人“物尽其用、取用有度”的生活传统转化为现代可持续生活风尚。
Focusing on the natural landscapes and folk wisdom of Ningde’s daily life, this initiative utilizes local renewable resources to design culturally creative consumer products that combine practicality and aesthetics (such as portable tableware, eco-friendly bags, tea-themed stationery, trendy apparel, and low-carbon packaging). These efforts transform Ningde residents’ traditional lifestyle of ‘maximizing resource utilization and practicing moderation’ into modern sustainable living practices.
(二)“可持续非遗设计”——聚焦非遗当代转化
(II) “Sustainable Intangible Cultural Heritage Design” —Contemporary Transformation of Intangible Cultural Heritage
以宁德丰富的非物质文化遗产(柘荣剪纸、畲族银饰、霍童线狮、福鼎白茶制作技艺、屏南红曲黄酒酿造等)为灵感,通过轻量化再造、材料替换与工艺改良,开发符合当代审美的非遗文创产品,让传统造物智慧在新时代延续生长。
Inspired by Ningde’s rich intangible cultural heritage (including Zherong paper-cutting, She ethnic silver ornaments, Huotong thread lion dance, Fuding white tea production techniques, and Pingnan red yeast rice wine brewing), we develop contemporary aesthetic intangible cultural heritage creative products through lightweight reconstruction, material substitution, and process optimization, enabling traditional craftsmanship wisdom to continue thriving in the new era.
(三)“新潮城市风物礼遇”——打造城市风物伴手礼
(III) “Trendy Urban Souvenirs” —City-Characteristic Handicrafts
融合宁德“山海川岛”的地理风物(大黄鱼、紫菜、海带、白茶、古田菌菇)设计轻便、精巧、富有故事感的城市伴手礼——可组合本地特产,让每一份礼物都承载宁德的自然馈赠与创新基因。
Integrating Ningde’s geographical features of’ mountains, seas, rivers, and islands ‘(including large yellow croaker, laver, kelp, white tea, and Gutian mushrooms) to design portable, exquisite, and story-rich urban souvenirs—by combining local specialties, each gift embodies Ningde’s natural bounty and innovative spirit.

*Design-related proposals include but are not limited to: product name, detailed description of overall design concept and rationale, IP main visual, brand logo, standard color scheme, auxiliary graphic system, IP character design, product development design and packaging application, material specifications, market feasibility analysis, and recommendations for product manufacturing and sales strategies.
3、A1展板(JPG),内容包括对作品方案的文字说明,IP视觉识别系统、产品开发体系展示、设计分析图,要求排版格式美观。(展板用于线下颁奖典礼成果展览)
3、A1 presentation board (in JPG format) is required, featuring textual descriptions of the design proposal, the IP visual identity system, product development framework, and design analysis diagrams. High-standard layout and aesthetics are expected.(The display board is used for the offline award ceremony achievement exhibition)
4、邀请赛选手需完成设计作品的打样,制作一組实体作品,寄送至指定地址。该实体作品将用于竞赛主办单位评审以及竞赛展览现场展示。
4、Participants in the invitational competition must complete the prototype of their design works, produce a set of physical prototypes, and submit them to the designated address. These physical prototypes will be used for evaluation by the competition organizers and displayed at the exhibition venue.

*To better showcase the conceptual vision of your work, submit short videos featuring team members alongside exhibition panels that illustrate the design concept. The format is flexible, but MPEG, MP4, or AVI formats are preferred.
1.参赛者在提交参赛作品时,应确保其为原创作品,且未侵犯任何第三方的知识产权,包括但不限于版权、商标权、专利权、商业秘密权等。参赛者应对其作品的原创性承担法律责任。
When submitting entries, participants must ensure that their works are original and do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, and trade secrets. Participants shall bear legal responsibility for the originality of their works.
2.参赛者依法对参赛产品拥有署名权、商标权、版权。参赛者在提交作品后,即视为不可撤销地授予大赛主办方及承办方一项全球范围内的、自作品提交之日起至大赛结束后3年内、非排他性的许可,授权其可在相关活动及商业开发中使用参赛作品。上述使用方式包括但不限于:主办单位及承办方对本次大赛作品进行的宣传、展览、出版、网络展示、信息网络传播;以及对参赛作品进行复制、修改、改编、演绎,并基于参赛作品进行产品开发、设计延展、生产制造、市场推广、销售及再许可等商业化利用。前述所有使用均无需另行向参赛者支付任何报酬。未经双方达成一致,本授权不可撤回。
2.Participants legally retain the right of attribution, trademark rights, and copyright over their submitted entries. Upon submission, participants irrevocably grant the competition’s host unit and competition organizer a non-exclusive worldwide license valid from submission date to 3 years post-event conclusion, permitting use of entries in promotional activities and commercial development. Such usage includes but is not limited to: publicity campaigns, exhibitions, publications, online displays, and information dissemination by competition organizers/host unit; reproduction, modification, adaptation, and performance of entries; as well as commercial applications including product development, design extensions, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and sublicensing. No additional compensation shall be required for any of these uses. This authorization remains irrevocable unless mutually agreed by both parties.
3.全部参赛作品仅代表参赛者的观点,不代表大赛主办方及承办方的观点、看法及立场。大赛主办方及承办方不保证参赛作品其内容、产品、服务或其他材料的准确性、可靠性、及时性、完整性和无差错性。不提供任何形式,无论是明示还是暗示的有关参赛产品中信息、内容、材料或产品的陈述或担保。参赛选手提交的作品方案,大赛主办方不提供方案落地执行,若甲方有落地执行需求,应与相关参赛选手对接落实。
3.All submitted entries solely represent the views of the participants and do not reflect the opinions, perspectives, or positions of the host unit or competition organizers.The host unit and organizer of the competition do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, timeliness, completeness, or error-free nature of the content, products, services, or other materials of the submitted entries. No representations or warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the information, content, materials, or products of the entries are provided in any form.The host unit will not provide implementation support for the submitted project proposals. If Party A requires execution services, they should coordinate directly with the relevant participating contestants to finalize arrangements.
4.若发现参赛作品存在抄袭、剽窃、盗用等侵权行为,大赛主办方有权取消该作品的参赛资格及已获得的奖项,并要求参赛者返还奖金、奖品及相关荣誉证书等。同时,参赛者应承担因侵权行为给大赛主办方及其他相关方造成的全部损失,包括但不限于诉讼费用、律师费、赔偿费用、名誉损失等。
4.If any submitted entry is found to involve copyright infringement such as plagiarism, theft, or unauthorized use, the host unit reserves the right to disqualify the entry from participation and revoke all awarded prizes, while requiring the participant to return any prize money, gifts, and related certificates of honor. The participant shall also be liable for all losses incurred by the organizer and other relevant parties due to the infringement, including but not limited to litigation costs, attorney fees, compensation expenses, and reputational damages.
5.对于因参赛作品引发的任何知识产权纠纷或争议,参赛者应负责解决,并承担全部法律责任和后果。大赛主办方有权要求参赛者提供相关证据以证明其作品的原创性和合法性,并有权根据纠纷解决情况采取相应措施,包括但不限于暂停或终止大赛相关活动、调整奖项设置等。
5.Participants shall be solely responsible for resolving any intellectual property disputes arising from their submitted entries and shall bear full legal liabilities and consequences. The host unit reserves the right to request participants to provide evidence demonstrating the originality and legality of their works, and may take appropriate measures based on dispute resolution outcomes, including but not limited to suspending or terminating competition-related activities and adjusting award categories.
6.本知识产权条款构成大赛参赛规则的重要组成部分,参赛者提交参赛作品即视为同意并接受本条款的全部内容。本条款的解释权归大赛主办方所有,如有未尽事宜或因法律法规调整导致本条款部分内容无效或不适用,大赛主办方有权对本条款进行修订和补充,并及时公布。
6.These intellectual property terms form an integral part of the competition rules. Participants’ submission of entries constitutes acceptance of all terms herein. The host unit reserves the right to interpret these terms. In case of ambiguities or legal amendments rendering certain provisions invalid or non-applicable, the host unit reserves the right to revise or supplement these terms and shall promptly announce any updates.
